Kozhikode: Samastha Kerala Sunni Students Federation (SKSSF) state committee has made a public statement condemning the comments of Muslim League state general secretary PMA Salam against leaders of Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama.

During the SKSSF state secretariat meeting, strong objections were raised against PMA Salam, with members expressing concerns about his “attempts to sow discord within the community.” The meeting emphasised the need for immediate intervention to curb his divisive actions. Following this, the organisation issued a statement.

"Salam mocked the Samastha president at a press meet. He then made derogatory remarks about SKSSF state president Syed Hamidali Shihab Thangal. Salam's actions were indicative of deep animosity towards Samastha. Strong measures must be taken against those attempting to strain the relationship between Samastha and Muslim League," the statement noted.

Anyone opposing Samastha and its leaders, regardless of their stature, would face severe consequences, stated SKSSF.
