Kalpetta: The leaders of Congress who convened in Wayanad have agreed to hold regular meetings of senior leaders at least once a week to address any issues prevailing among them. This will involve Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, opposition leader, and former KPCC leaders meeting weekly, or at least four times a month.
Many of the Congress leaders had accused KPCC president K Sudhakaran and Opposition leader VD Satheesan of taking party’s decision on their own without consulting other senior leaders, including Ramesh Chennithala. K Muraleedharan has also complained that he is being ignored by the leadership. Hence, AICC general secretary KC Venugopal recommended to carry out weekly meetings to address the issues and take valid action.
The leadership observed that the draft document of the party and ‘Mission 2024’ can be implemented only if the leaders could share amiable communication with each other.
