The opposition has no role in the fight between the government and governor in Kerala. When the BJP goes for strikes and protests for the Governor, it would result in a street battle, said Muraleedharan.

Thiruvananthapuram: Adding to the intensifying difference in opinions within the Congress over the governor’s fight with the government, K Muraleedharan MP on Tuesday rejected the stances taken by KPCC president K Sudhakaran and Opposition Leader VD Satheesan.

“The union government is conducting saffronisation using governors. It cannot be accepted. I agree with K C Venugopal’s opinion in this regard. I am not aware of the opinions of Sudhakaran and Satheesan,” said Muraleedharan. VD Satheesan and K Sudhakaran had expressed support for the governor’s stance the previous day.

“The opposition has no role in the fight between the government and governor in Kerala. When the BJP goes for strikes and protests for the governor, it would result in a street battle. Moreover, if the fight continues, it will disrupt the functioning of universities,” Muraleedharan said.
