Pathanamthitta: There are entrepreneurs who wish they had their own data centre facility. Now it's going to be available for them.

The Micro Data Center (MDC) launched by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) is expected to create a big revolution. The MDC that was released in Hyderabad the other day will soon be coming to Kerala.

Many businesses did not have the local facilities to store and conveniently access customer information, including stock information. They had to rely on high-capacity data centres like Amazon.

BSNL Kerala Circle Chief General Manager R Sajikumar said that the micro data centre will bring about major changes in the country's economy.

The hardware for MDC will be provided by BSNL. It can be placed on its own premises or in nearby major exchanges.
