Pathanamthitta/ Kochi: NDA Lok Sabha candidate Anil Antony has challenged Nandakumar to prove the allegations levelled against him, which involves the purported receipt of Rs 25 lakhs. Meanwhile, Nandakumar has asserted that he is ready to furnish the evidence to support his claims. Anil said that the person who raised these allegations is an anti-social person and he has met him once or two times. Anil further said that Nandakumar had made requests when they met but he refused to help him. Anil has alleged the involvement of Anto Antony, the anti-national, behind all this. If they have evidence, let them prove these allegations, Anil said.

Anil stated that Nandakumar constantly disturbs him and had even blocked his number. Anil said that he realised Nandakumar's actions as an attempt to blackmail. Anil clarified that he is not pursuing legal action against Nandakumar currently, citing time constraints amidst the ongoing election campaign.

“If Uma Thomas and P.J Kurien know the details of this, then kindly ask them,” Anil told mediapersons. 

In response to Anil’s words, Nandakumar responded saying that  “Anil Antony is a super broker in Delhi. He sold out the post of Defense Minister and made money from the first and second UPA governments. I did not file the complaint because the money was returned with the intervention of PT Thomas”.

Nandakumar further challenged Anil Antony to hold a debate on his own accord in Pathanamthitta. He also asked that if he seemed so ‘untrustable’ then why Anil Antony chose to contact him via phone. He also added that a fiery BJP leader who is also a candidate this time has taken Rs 10 lakh from him.
