Kadirur: In an unfortunate incident, a boy lost his forearm in a bomb explosion at Kadirur in Kannur. Nijesh alias Maarimuthu’s arm was severed in the mishap that happened at 10.30 pm. The explosion occurred during the making of country bomb.

One more person has been injured in the mishap. Nijeesh was first taken to the Thalassery Co-operative hospital and as the injuries were severe, he was rushed to the Mangalore hospital for further treatment.

The incident happened at Fourth Mile in Kadirur.
