Shocking WhatsApp message surfaces after Kerala RSS worker`s suicide, levelling serious allegations against local BJP and RSS leaders regarding a sand mafia.

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: A WhatsApp message allegedly sent by an RSS worker in Kerala, who died by suicide on Saturday, has surfaced, levelling serious allegations against local BJP and RSS leaders.
Anand K. Thampi, a resident of the Thrikkannapuram ward under the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, reportedly took the extreme step after he was denied a ticket for the upcoming local body elections.
He was found hanging at his residence and was rushed to a private hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to the note, Anand named BJP area president Udayakumar (known as Alappuram Kuttan), constituency committee member Krishnakumar, and RSS nagar karyavahak Rajesh, alleging they were “part of a sand mafia”. He also claimed that the BJP candidate Vinod Kumar (Aani) was chosen to further their “illegal activities”.
‘Was under severe mental pressure’
In the note, Anand wrote that he had informed senior RSS district-level leaders about his desire to contest from Thrikkannapuram. However, he claimed he was sidelined after the “sand mafia group tightened its grip” on the RSS and BJP leadership.
He also alleged that he faced “intense mental pressure” from RSS and BJP workers after announcing his intention to contest as an independent, saying even his close friends had distanced themselves.
Detailed financial disclosures
The lengthy note includes detailed accounts of Anand’s business loans, personal debts, assets, and money owed to him by several individuals, including certain BJP office-bearers. He requested that his dues be recovered and his liabilities settled after his death.
He also mentioned investments in businesses such as Guru Enterprises, Urban Kitchen, and Urban Touch, urging partners and associates to transfer his share to his children.
‘Do not allow BJP or RSS workers near my body’
One of the most striking lines in the note states that his mortal remains should not be viewed by BJP or RSS workers. Anand wrote that his “biggest mistake” in life was being an RSS worker, saying that his involvement with the organisation ultimately led him to this situation.
Meanwhile, the police are examining the circumstances around the death, including the authenticity of the suicide note and the allegations raised in it.
