Kozhikode: The body of auto driver and Gandhinagar native Sreekanth was found in Panicker road. Sreekanth was found dead inside his auto rickshaw on Sunday morning.

The police arrived at the scene and shifted Sreekanth's body to Kozhikode Medical College for further examination. Sreekanth was involved in multiple legal cases, said the police. It is learnt that a dispute linked to his legal involvements may have caused the fatal assault.

The police have also apprehended a suspect in connection with the incident who is currently under interrogation.
