103-year-old freedom fighter Socio Vasu defies age to cast his vote in Kerala, inspiring citizens to exercise their democratic right.

Feroke: Defying age, 103-year-old freedom fighter P Vasu, better known as ‘Socio Vasu’, made his way to the polling booth to cast his vote. The veteran exercised his franchise at Booth No. 5, Cheruvannur Government Higher Secondary School, in the 44th Division of Kozhikode Corporation.
He was accompanied by his sons Ramesh Babu and Raj Narayan, as he participated in the democratic process. Speaking on the occasion, Vasu emphasised that every eligible citizen has a duty to exercise their right to vote. True to his independent spirit, he cast his vote without any assistance.
Vasu’s inspiring participation serves as a reminder of the enduring spirit of democracy and civic responsibility, showing that age is no barrier to voting.
