Palakkad: The incumbent MLA and LDF candidate in Nenmara K Babu on Saturday alleged that there was vote trade in the constituency for the Assembly polls. He also alleged that the UDF candidate had invested a large amount of money for buying votes.
As the Nenmara seat was given to BJP ally BDJS, there were issues within BJP. The votes of those unsatisfied and those neutral were bought by the UDF with money, Babu alleged.
He added that those within Congress themselves admitted this fact. Since panachayat elections UDF has been using money to influence voters. However, I am sure of my victory, he added.
