Kannur: CPM central committee member K.K Shailaja clarified her position on the Israel-Hamas conflict. Shailaja, described Hamas as terrorists and said in her Facebook post that ‘anyone with a conscience will condemn the attack by Hamas terrorists’.

She also stated in the note that the Palestine people have been experiencing the same level of terror since 1948 and one cannot deny the fact that Israel and the imperialist powers that support them are responsible for this. 

She further  wrote that wars are the consequence of the greed of power and money. Innocent lives are lost in war. Shailaja added that it is our responsibility to protest against this and not just express a sigh of sympathy.
