Aluva: A Kerala High Court staffer shot his elder brother at Edayapuram here late Thursday night.  The deceased has been identified as Thyparambil Paulson (48). Police have taken Thomas into custody and is being quizzed. 

The incident happened around 11 pm. The duo had been living along with their father. Thomas had parked his bike in front of the house in the morning, which was later destroyed by Paulson. Thomas had lodged a police complaint over this. 

It is learnt that a verbal spat over the matter resulted in the incident. According to reports, Thomas shot Paulson with an airgun and later informed the matter to police.
