Kochi: The Crime Branch team probing the 2017 actress attack case has served a notice to actress Kavya Madhavan asking her to appear for an interrogation on Monday.
As per the summons, Kavya Madhavan who is the wife of actor Dileep has been asked to appear before the probe team at the Aluva police club.
Earlier, the probe team summoned the actress for an interrogation. But they were informed that she is out of town.
Following this, the probe team served a notice to Kavya Madhavan here on Friday.
It is learnt that the probe team took the move after some audio clips related to Kavya came out. The police have collected crucial evidence after taking the phones of the conspiracy case accused including Dileep’s brother-in-law TN Sooraj for scientific examination.
The probe team had collected the voice clip of the phone conversation between Sooraj and Dileep’s friend Sarath. This conversation hints at matters related to Kavya. It is assumed that a dispute between Kavya and her friends led to the incidents related to the case. In the phone conversation, Sarath was heard saying Dileep was forced to take over the responsibility for all the issues. The probe team has submitted evidence including this voice clip before the court.
