According to the police, Arun offered to help her cross over to the opposite platform, assuring her that she would not need to cross the railway tracks

Thiruvananthapuram: A railway porter has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting an actress at the Kochuveli railway station. The accused, identified as Arun, was taken into custody by the Petta police on Friday.
The incident occurred last Thursday when the actress arrived at the station to travel for a film shoot. According to the police, Arun offered to help her cross over to the opposite platform, assuring her that she would not need to cross the railway tracks. He reportedly told her that she could pass through the AC coach of a stationary train to reach the other side.
He allegedly grabbed her as she was attempting to climb onto the platform. The actress first lodged a complaint with railway authorities, but later approached the police after the accused tried to justify his actions.
Following the police complaint, Arun was suspended from duty and arrested. Further investigation is underway.
