Thiruvananthapuram: Two miscreants attacked a lady doctor of the Fort hospital here on Thursday night. The security staff was also attacked. Police arrested the accused Karimadom native Rasheed and Vallakkadav native Rafeeq.

Doctor Malu Murali was working at the emergency section when two people visited her to dress a wound. "When I asked how it happened, they attacked me," Malu said. They twisted my hand and tried to tear my dress, she said.

The security staff who arrived at the scene was also attacked.

PG doctors boycotted the OP examination rounds as protest. KGMOA asked the government to take stringent action against the culprits.
