Kochi: CPM MLA and former Minister A.C. Moideen will be questioned once again by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Karuvannur bank fraud case.
The ED will also interrogate CPM state committee member and Kerala Bank former vice president M.K. Kannan in the case. As per the sources in the ED, the duo will soon be issued notice for the same.
Ahead of it, the ED has issued notice to the Thrissur Corporation Councillor Anoop Davis Cada, asking to appear before the body next week. The ED will also be summoning Wadakkanchery Councillor Madhu Ambalapuram.
The ED will be taking further steps on Moideen only after collecting more details and grilling more people in the case.
The ED had submitted the first charge sheet, comprising around 55 accused, and made some arrests in the case. However, no further action was taken after that.
