Salem: Two Kollam natives were killed in a road accident at Namakkal bypass here on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Jojo Thomas and Jijo Varghese.
The duo was on the way to Kollam from Bengaluru. They met with the accident after their car crashed into a streetlight pole.
Jijo Varghese, who suffered severe injuries, died on the spot. Jojo Thomas was taken to hospital and later succumbed to injuries.
