Chennai: Police on Wednesday named 17 as accused in the Kaliyikkavila ASI murder case. The police also revealed that three among them were given special training to carry out attacks without being nabbed. The master plan for the attack was prepared from Delhi as well as Karnataka.

The Tamil Nadu Q branch is interrogating the 2 persons, who are in custody, in Uduppi. Information regarding the involvement of others in the attack was revealed during the interrogation. All 17 were involved in the conspiracy to carry out terrorist activities.

The Tamil Nadu police will not hand over the accused to Karnataka Police immediately. They will be interrogated again in connection with blast materials found in Karnataka.

A detailed investigation is being carried out regarding how the accused possessed guns that they used for the attack. It is reported that they got the guns from Mumbai.
