New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke expressed profound relief and gratitude following climate activist Sonam Wangchuk’s decision to end his 26-day hunger strike, calling his life "far too precious to this country". While celebrating Wangchuk's stand, Dipke affirmed that the CJP's agitation over exam irregularities will remain active until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan steps down.

Reacting to the news on social media platform X, Dipke praised Wangchuk for awakening the nation's collective consciousness through his sacrifice.


Dipke emphasised that despite Wangchuk concluding his fast, the political push for accountability will not stall. "The Cockroach Janta Party's peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar will continue until Dharmendra Pradhan resigns," he said.Wangchuk broke his 26-day fast at Medanta Hospital in the presence of Union Ministers JP Nadda and Dr Jitendra Singh alongside senior representatives of the Apex Body of Leh Ladakh. Explaining his decision on X, Wangchuk noted that the fast was called off after extensive negotiations and to prevent potential unrest. 
 

 

Meanwhile, CJP has organised nationwide peaceful demonstrations demanding Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation in light of the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak controversy.
