Indian associations in Germany are assisting with arrangements to repatriate the body, while Hrithik’s relatives have also approached the government to expedite the process.
Hyderabad: A 25-year-old man from Telangana died after jumping from an apartment building in Germany while trying to escape a fire, his relatives said on Friday.
The deceased, Hrithik Reddy, hailed from Jangaon district and had moved to Germany in 2023 to pursue higher studies. He completed his MS from the University of Europe and was working part-time there, according to his cousin, Yashwanth Reddy.
“He booked a ticket to come home on January 12. Now we are expecting his body,” Yashwanth Reddy told PTI.
The incident occurred on December 30, and the family was informed about it the next day.

Hrithik had completed his engineering degree from a college in Warangal before travelling to Germany in June 2023 for his postgraduation.
