As the winter session of Parliament began on Monday, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Appala Naidu Kalisetti arrived on a bicycle, drawing attention to Delhi's worsening air quality.
Kalisetti’s unconventional mode of transport stood out as he pedaled a yellow bicycle to the parliamentary venue, dressed in a yellow kurta and white dhoti.
Speaking to reporters, he said, "I have come on a bicycle to raise awareness about pollution in Delhi. It is very dangerous and must be controlled."
This is not the first time Kalisetti has used a bicycle for his commute to Parliament.
During the July session, the TDP legislator also rode the same yellow bicycle, which he referred to as the first bicycle of his life.
After briefly addressing the media upon his arrival, Kalisetti asked the Parliament staff to park the bicycle for him before entering the building.
