Kangana Ranaut criticises Jaya Bachchan`s reaction to a selfie attempt, calling her "spoilt and privileged." The incident sparked controversy on social media.

Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has once again sparked controversy with her outspoken remarks, this time targeting veteran actress and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan. Kangana reacted strongly to a video that has been widely circulated on social media, showing Jaya Bachchan pushing away a man who tried to take a selfie with her.
The incident occurred at the Constitution Club in Delhi, where a man attempted to click a selfie with Jaya Bachchan. The veteran actress, visibly displeased, pushed the man away and scolded him, saying, "Kya kar rahe hai aap? (What are you doing?) What is this?" The clip, shared by news agency ANI, quickly went viral, drawing varied reactions from the public.
Kangana took to her Instagram stories to share the video and express her criticism. In her caption, she labelled Jaya Bachchan as “the most spoilt and privileged woman,” suggesting that people tolerate her behaviour only because she is married to Amitabh Bachchan.
Kangana also took a swipe at Jaya’s political affiliation, mocking her appearance and attire by saying, “That Samajwadi topi loc like a rooster comb, while she looks like a fighting cock!! Such disgrace and Shame..”
This is not the first time Kangana has publicly criticised fellow celebrities or politicians, and her remarks on Jaya Bachchan have already sparked intense discussions online.
Meanwhile, the video of Jaya’s reaction continues to be a hot topic on social media, with opinions divided on whether the veteran actress was justified in her response to the man’s behaviour.
