Mumbai: Controversial YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, who became the center of a storm following his provocative comments on the show India’s Got Latent, is now claiming to have undergone a 'rebirth' a month after the scandal. In an emotional post shared on Instagram, Ranveer revealed that this phase had been challenging, but he has emerged stronger and more responsible.

Posting a series of pictures with his family, friends, pet, and crew members, Ranveer captioned his post, "Thank you to my loved ones, Thank you, universe… A new blessed chapter begins - Rebirth…" While many fans and celebrities showed their support, a few comments stood out, including comedian Tanmay Bhatt’s cheeky dig at singer B Praak, who had refused to appear on Ranveer’s podcast after the controversy. Bhatt wrote, “Like this comment if you want a B Praak podcast.” 

However, it was the comment from YouTuber Ashish Chanchalani that caught particular attention. Chanchalani wrote, "Love you, But next time you are meeting me please don't crack jokes near me," hinting at the problem caused by the remarks made during the infamous episode wherein he was also among the panelist.

In the video accompanying his post, Ranveer expressed heartfelt gratitude to his supporters. “Thank you to all the supporters, all the well-wishers. Your positive messages helped me and my entire family a lot because this phase was very difficult,” he began. He went on to describe how he received violent threats and faced online hate after the controversy erupted, admitting that it had been an overwhelming experience.

He thanked a range of people, from his team and guests on the show to cricketers, actors, and business professionals, who had reached out during this difficult period. "At those low moments of your life, you realise that only success will not go with you on your path. You will have to face failure,” he said, emphasising the importance of personal growth during challenging times.

The YouTuber reflected on the lessons he had learned during his forced break and promised to create more responsible content going forward. “I realised that so many Indians consider me a member of the family... So many people consider me a son, so many people consider me a brother. I am sorry to all of them. I promise that I will create content with more responsibility in the coming years,” he assured his audience.

Ranveer also discussed the mental health toll the controversy had taken on him, revealing that through meditation, prayer, and self-reflection, he had come to view this phase as a period of transformation rather than punishment. “If God has given me so much till now, then I consider this phase also as a gift of God that it came into my life for the sake of my growth,” he said.

Despite the scandal, Ranveer expressed hope for the future of The Ranveer Show and his content. “Our podcast will return very soon. From now on, you will see a new Ranveer,” he declared, reaffirming his commitment to producing higher-quality content.

The controversy began when Ranveer made disturbing remarks about parents and sex during an episode of India’s Got Latent, which went viral and sparked public outrage. His comments were heavily criticised, leading to multiple police complaints in both Mumbai and Guwahati. Alongside Ranveer, comedians Samay Raina and Apoorva Mukhija were also implicated due to their involvement in the episode. 

The Maharashtra Cyber Cell summoned Samay Raina for questioning regarding his participation in the controversial show. In an official statement, Raina expressed regret for his remarks and vowed to be more mindful in the future.
