96.23% electors covered in Bihar SIR; 5.56% not found, says ECI.

Patna: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday said that 96.23 percent of electors in Bihar have been covered under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.
However, 5.56 percent electors have not been found at their registered addresses so far.
Parties informed of missing electors
According to the ECI, the list of electors who either did not return the enumeration form or were not found at their address has already been shared with all 12 major political parties in the state.
Public objections to be invited from August 1
The ECI further stated, “On August 1, EROs will invite objections from the public for any additions, deletions or rectifications in the draft electoral rolls.”
