A pistol, explosives, grenades, and ammo were seized, disrupting terrorist operations in the area.

Kupwara: In a major security operation, Op Alachizab, the Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police on Wednesday launched a joint search in the Alachizab area of Gulgam forest, Kupwara, following specific intelligence input about the presence of terror-related activity.
During the search, security personnel recovered a significant cache of war-like stores, including a pistol, explosives, grenades, and a substantial quantity of ammunition. Officials said the seizure would deal a blow to terrorist networks operating in the region.
The search operation, which began earlier today, is still underway, with forces combing the dense forest to rule out the presence of any terrorists.
Authorities have not yet disclosed if any arrests have been made. Further details are expected once the ongoing operation concludes.
