Advisor Panruti S Ramachandran announced the split, stating the group will no longer be part of the BJP-led coalition

Chennai: Former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam’s AIADMK Cadres Rights Retrieval Committee has officially severed its ties with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), marking a significant political shift ahead of upcoming electoral alignments in Tamil Nadu.
The announcement was made on Thursday by veteran leader and advisor to the Committee, Panruti S Ramachandran, during a press briefing in Chennai.
“Hereafter the Committee will not be a part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA),” Ramachandran stated, flanked by Panneerselvam and other key members of the panel.
Statewide tour planned
Ramachandran further added that the Committee’s chief, O Panneerselvam, would soon embark on a tour across various parts of Tamil Nadu.
“It has been resolved to decide on the question of alliance in future according to the circumstances,” he said, indicating that the Committee remains open to new political alignments based on evolving situations.
