New Delhi: In an extraordinary move to prevent any potential leaks, the examiners drafting the question papers for the upcoming NEET retest have been placed under a strict 'lockdown'. Translators responsible for converting the papers into regional languages have also been relocated to undisclosed, secure locations.

Those isolated will face absolute restrictions on communicating with the outside world until the examination concludes on 21 June. This unprecedented strategy has been deployed by central authorities to safeguard the integrity of the retest following recent controversies.


Strict gadget restrictions

According to Central Government sources, individuals inside these secure facilities are strictly prohibited from using mobile phones, laptops and smartwatches. Furthermore, internet access is heavily monitored and permitted only under stringent surveillance protocols.

To maintain total secrecy, entry to these confidential locations is restricted exclusively to personnel possessing specialised clearance. In a further bid to fortify logistics, the government plans to deploy Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft to securely transport and distribute the question papers to various states across the country.
