This year's highlight is a spectacular drone show on October 1 & 2, featuring a record-breaking 3,000 drones creating stunning aerial formations, including the tiger and mythological figures

Mysore Dasara 2025, Karnataka’s grandest cultural festival, is set to dazzle locals and tourists alike with its spectacular Drone Show at the Torchlight Parade Grounds, Bannimantap, Mysuru. The festival runs from September 22 to October 2, culminating with Vijayadashami celebrations on October 2.
This year, the Drone Show will be held on October 1 and 2, featuring an unprecedented 3,000 synchronised drones lighting up the Mysuru night sky. The drones will create breathtaking formations such as the national animal tiger, peacock, solar system, world map, and mythological motifs like the Kalinga Narthana of Lord Krishna and the Goddess Chamundeshwari.
The 2025 drone show has already broken a Guinness World Record during a trial run on September 28, where nearly 3,000 Indian-made drones formed the largest aerial image of a mammal ever created by drones—the majestic tiger—captivating lakhs of attendees.
