New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended an exhibition at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Sunday as part of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025, organized to coincide with National Youth Day, commemorating Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary.

The exhibition featured contributions from young leaders across India, showcasing innovations in digital technologies, virtual advancements, and sustainable development goals (SDGs). The event aimed to highlight efforts aligned with the vision of "Viksit Bharat 2047." The dialogue included presentations from young innovators on ten key themes, addressing areas such as technology, sustainability, women empowerment, manufacturing, and agriculture. These presentations focused on solutions to pressing national challenges.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister was scheduled to interact with 3,000 young leaders from across the country and deliver an address. In a post on social media platform X, Modi mentioned the event as an opportunity to engage with youth, stating, "I will spend the day with my young friends at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025, discussing various subjects aimed at building a Viksit Bharat."

The dialogue also aimed to update the format of the National Youth Festival by encouraging broader youth engagement without political affiliations.

As part of the program, a compilation of essays by participants on the ten themes was set to be released. Selected participants were also invited for a lunch interaction with the Prime Minister to share their ideas and experiences.

The 3,000 participants were chosen through the Viksit Bharat Challenge, a three-stage selection process that began with a nationwide quiz in 12 languages, followed by an essay round and state-level competitions.

Participants included 1,500 from the Challenge Track, representing state-level teams; 1,000 from the Traditional Track, selected through cultural programs and exhibitions; and 500 Pathbreakers, recognized for contributions in various fields.
