New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release three commemorative books celebrating the life and achievements of former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu on his 75th birthday this Sunday.

The event will be held at the Anvaya Convention Centre in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, with Modi participating via videoconferencing, according to an official statement.

The books to be released include a biography titled 'Venkaiah Naidu - Life in Service,' authored by S. Nagesh Kumar, the former resident editor of The Hindu's Hyderabad edition. Another book, 'Celebrating Bharat - The Mission and Message of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu as 13th Vice-President of India,' is a photo chronicle compiled by his former secretary IV Subba Rao.

Additionally, a pictorial biography in Telugu, 'Mahaneta - Life and Journey of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu,' authored by Sanjay Kishore, will also be unveiled.

This event marks a significant tribute to Naidu's extensive public service and his contributions as the 13th Vice-President of India. PTI
