Saurabh Jain, co-founder of Bengaluru-based interior design platform Livspace, has announced his exit after approximately 11 years with the company.

In a post on professional networking platform LinkedIn, Jain said he is moving to the next phase of his entrepreneurial journey. He did not provide specific details about his new venture but indicated that he is exploring a project he has been thinking about for some time.

Jain reflected on Livspace’s founding philosophy, stating that the idea was based on the belief that home interiors in India could be built differently. He described the journey as one involving conviction, resilience, and difficult decisions while acknowledging the contributions of teams, partners, and customers.

He wrote that the company’s growth was the result of collective effort and said he would continue to support Livspace’s future.

Social media reactions included messages of support from industry leaders. Vaishali Sampath highlighted the challenges of structuring an unorganised industry, while Ashish Shah wished Jain success in his future endeavour.

Jain joined Livspace in 2015 after completing his B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. The company later grew into a major e-commerce-based home interior design platform in India.

Livspace stated that Jain played a key role in shaping the company from its early stage into a market leader. The company thanked him for his contribution and wished him success in future ventures.

Jain said he plans to take a short pause before revealing more about his next project.
