Patna Police have detained two guards linked to Khan Sir's coaching institute after a viral video surfaced in the alleged firing case.

The controversy surrounding popular educator Khan Sir and the ongoing rivalry between coaching institutes in Patna has taken a dramatic new turn after police detained two security guards associated with his coaching center in connection with an alleged firing incident.
The development comes days after Khan Sir claimed that around 10 rounds of gunfire were fired outside his coaching institute during a violent clash. Patna Police initially denied any firing had taken place, and within hours Khan Sir appeared to soften his stance, with the alleged shooting incident not featuring in the formal complaint submitted to authorities.
Now, fresh evidence in the form of a viral video has reignited the controversy.
The video, which circulated widely on social media, allegedly shows security personnel linked to Khan Sir's coaching institute firing shots during a confrontation that erupted after a dispute between individuals associated with rival coaching operators.
Following the video's circulation, Patna Police launched further action and detained two guards connected to Khan Sir's coaching center for questioning in the alleged firing case.
The incident stems from violence reported on the night of June 2 in Musallahpur, one of Patna's major education hubs. A clash involving supporters and staff linked to competing coaching institutes led to allegations of assault and vandalism. Initially, fingers were pointed at individuals associated with Gyan Bindu Coaching, run by coaching operator Roshan Anand.
Police had earlier taken action against Roshan Anand as part of the investigation.
