Ranchi: In a major political and administrative move, the Jharkhand Cabinet has decided to cancel all competitive and recruitment examinations conducted by outsourced agency TSR Data Processing Pvt Ltd since 2014.

The announcement was made by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The decision comes amid mounting scrutiny and allegations regarding the transparency and integrity of examinations outsourced to third-party agencies over the past decade.

The move is expected to impact thousands of candidates who appeared for various state recruitment tests managed by the private agency over the last 12 years.

Further guidelines regarding re-examinations, official agency blacklisting and candidate redressal mechanisms are expected to be issued by the state government shortly.
