The accused in the India’s Got Latent case—Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, and Samay Raina—are in communication with Maharashtra Cyber. They are scheduled to visit the Maharashtra Cyber office on Friday to provide their statements. Authorities have designated a time slot for all accused to submit their testimonies.
The case pertains to his recent controversial remarks made by Ranveer Allahbadia on the Samay Raina show India’s Got Latent.
The Supreme Court has earlier provided interim protection to Ranveer Allahbadia from arrest in relation to multiple FIRs filed against him.
The episode in question was recorded on November 14, 2024, but aired recently. It featured Allahbadia alongside comedian Samay Raina and YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, engaging in the use of offensive language. The incident has sparked huge backlash on social media.
