New Delhi: In a powerful counteroffensive, India reportedly launched missile and drone strikes targeting key Pakistani cities including Lahore, Sialkot, and Faisalabad on Thursday night, following Pakistan’s earlier cross-border aggression. The strikes mark a sharp escalation in hostilities, with military and strategic targets reportedly hit deep inside Pakistani territory.

According to media reports, Indian missiles struck strategic installations in Lahore and Sialkot, while drone strikes were used to target and reportedly destroy a Pakistani air defence system near Faisalabad. The Indian Army confirmed that multiple Pakistani drone and missile attacks were launched along the western border earlier in the day, prompting an immediate and measured retaliation.
