Meanwhile, on getting a similar notice from the Income Tax department, Maharashtra Minister Sanjay Shirsat said, "No one is trying to suppress us. It is the IT department's work. We always said that we should cooperate with them. The ED department saw everyone equally. They sent me a notice too. Now it is my responsibility to provide an explanation of what was stated in the notice..."
