Hyderabad: Winter conditions are set to deepen across Hyderabad on Wednesday, December 10, with the city expecting a mix of hazy sunshine, cool winds and a noticeable drop in temperatures.

According to the forecast, the day began on a cold note at around 15°C, gradually rising to a mild 29°C in the afternoon. However, the persistent haze is likely to keep the atmosphere dull and restrict any strong warming through the day.

Adding to the chill, northeasterly winds blowing at nearly 15 km/h are expected to sweep across the city. Sunset is likely expected around 5:42 pm, offering Hyderabad just over eleven hours of daylight.

Cold wave alert for Telangana

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has already sounded a cold wave alert across several Telangana districts starting December 9. Many parts of the state have seen temperatures dipping below 10°C, an unusually steep drop for this time of the year.

Officials have asked residents to stay warm, keep homes insulated and avoid early-morning exposure, especially the elderly, children, and those with health issues.
