Initially conducting 'satsangs' in his village Dham under Patiyali tehsil, Baba eventually ceased as the gatherings grew large, causing damage to local crops.
Villagers emphasized that Baba never solicited donations for constructing his 'Bhavya Dham', stating it was built solely from devotees' contributions, freely given without his request.
Women residents praised Baba's moral conduct, noting his discussions centered solely on matters related to God.
Local residents like Dhan Singh, Mohit Kumar, and Jay Kumar, who live near Baba's ashram, spoke highly of his influence and the frequent attendance at his 'satsangs'.
Baba, reportedly over 60 years old and childless, had adopted a girl who sadly passed away around 16-17 years ago. Villagers recalled a controversial incident where Baba kept the girl's body at home for two days in the hope of her resurrection, necessitating police intervention for her cremation.
Currently residing at an ashram in Mainpuri, Baba's presence attracted heightened police presence following the Hathras tragedy, with officials declining to confirm his whereabouts despite police sources suggesting he was inside.
Police have cordoned off access to the ashram in Bichhawan, barring entry to all, including media personnel.
