The man reportedly informed police personnel at the entrance that he had consumed poison around 15 minutes earlier.

Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh: A man died during treatment after allegedly consuming poison before entering the Superintendent of Police (SP) office in Gwalior, police said on Monday.
CSP Robin Jain said the man, identified as Rajesh, arrived at the SP office after consuming a poisonous substance. He reportedly informed police personnel at the entrance that he had consumed poison around 15 minutes earlier.
"He started vomiting right there, and the police immediately took him to the hospital. During treatment, he died there," Jain said.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine where and under what circumstances Rajesh consumed the poison and what led him to take the extreme step.
Jain said police have also recovered a suicide note and are examining its contents.
"From a prima facie look at the suicide note, it appears there was some financial dispute; he had borrowed money from someone, and names of several people are written," Jain said.
He added that the names mentioned in the note and the circumstances surrounding the alleged financial dispute would be independently verified before further action is taken.
"We will verify this separately, and based on whatever further facts we find, we will take action accordingly," the CSP said.
