Mumbai: An Ethiopian Airline aircraft caught fire at Mumbai International Airport leading to panic among ground staff, passengers and authorities. Preliminary reports suggest that the fire might have been caused while loading a shipment of chemical on the aircraft. The fire was quickly doused with no immediate reports of injury. 

However, the exact cause of the fire is still unknown. The police are working closely with airport security and airline officials to determine the cause of the fire.
As the ground staff was loading a shipment of chemicals on the aircraft, a sudden outburst of flames from the box triggered the fire causing widespread panic.

Authorities are investigating the nature of the chemicals involved and whether any safety protocols were breached during the loading process Mumbai Police have detained five individuals in connection with the incident.

A through investigation is currently underway to prevent such accidents in future. However, this accident has brought to light the lapses in handling and transport of dangerous goods at the airport.
