Freshly released records from the US Justice Department have revealed disturbing details about the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his private communications with Indian industrialist Anil Ambani, exposing how Epstein maintained proximity to powerful figures far beyond the United States.

The documents, part of a broader disclosure of Epstein’s communications, show that he was in regular contact with Ambani between early 2017 and 2019, a period that preceded Epstein’s arrest on federal sex-trafficking charges involving minors.

The exchanges go beyond casual networking, revealing conversations that veer into deeply unsettling territory.

In one message dated March 9, 2017, Ambani asked Epstein for a suggestion. Epstein’s response was explicit and personal, offering to arrange the company of “a tall Swedish blonde woman” to make the visit “fun”. The reply from Ambani, according to the documents, came almost instantly: “Arrange that.”

The texts form part of a wider pattern of interaction between the two men, in which Epstein appears to position himself as a discreet facilitator, someone who could provide access, introductions, and privacy. The records show discussions ranging from global politics and business to private travel plans across major world cities.

The messages indicate attempts to meet in Paris later in 2017, although the two reportedly missed each other.

In January 2018, the conversation shifted to international politics, including reactions to then-US president Donald Trump at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Epstein and Ambani continued to remain in contact well into 2019.

When Ambani informed Epstein of plans to visit New York in May 2019, Epstein extended an invitation to his Manhattan residence.

In one message, Epstein wrote that he could also help arrange meetings with individuals “quietly,” suggesting discretion as a key offering. Assistants later confirmed that the two men did meet at Epstein’s Upper East Side townhouse.

The documents also reveal Epstein’s apparent fascination with the Ambani family. In 2017, he reportedly ordered several books detailing the history and rise of the powerful Indian business dynasty, underscoring his interest in cultivating the relationship.

While the records do not allege criminal conduct by Ambani, they shed harsh light on Epstein’s methods, embedding himself among global elites, using access, secrecy, and influence as currency.

The revelations have renewed scrutiny of Epstein’s international network and the extent to which some of the world’s most powerful individuals interacted with him before his crimes became publicly known.

Epstein died in a New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial. Still, the slow release of official documents continues to expose the shadowy reach of his relationships, and the deeply uncomfortable conversations that took place behind closed doors.
