Dindigul: A massive forest fire erupted at Perumal Kovil Patti Hill in Tamil Nadu’s Dindigul district on Sunday, as scorching temperatures and dry conditions fueled the blaze.

Authorities suspect that the fire was caused by the ongoing heat wave, which has been intensifying across the region. Drone visuals captured from the affected area showed smoke billowing from the hill, with flames spreading rapidly across the dry forest cover. Local residents have been advised to stay cautious as the extreme heat and strong winds could further escalate the situation.
