President Droupadi Murmu will lead the Constitution Day 2025 national event in Samvidhan Sadan, featuring the digital release of the statute in nine Indian languages.

New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu will on Wednesday preside over the national function marking Constitution Day 2025 in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan, which will include the digital release of the Constitution of India in nine Indian languages, an official said.
The Constitution will be released in Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Bodo, Kashmiri, Telugu, Odia and Assamese.
The event, scheduled to begin at 11 am, will see the President lead parliamentarians in reaffirming their commitment to constitutional values and democratic traditions.
Vice-President and Rajya Sabha Chairman CP Radhakrishna, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers and Members of Parliament from both Houses are expected to attend, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
During the programme, the Speaker and the Vice-President will address the gathering, followed by the President’s address.
As part of the Constitution Day observance, a Hindi commemorative booklet featuring calligraphy from the Constitution prepared by the Ministry of Culture will also be released.
The programme will include the Reading of the Preamble, led by the President.
Across the country, Union Ministries and Departments, subordinate and attached offices, State and UT governments and local bodies will hold programmes to mark the occasion.
Citizens will take part through activities including online reading of the Preamble on MyGov.in and Constitution75.com, generation of participation certificates and social media sharing, as well as a national online quiz and blog or essay competitions on the theme “Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman”. Conferences, seminars, debates, short films, exhibitions, cultural events, poster/painting and rangoli competitions and other Constitution-themed initiatives will be conducted from the Panchayat to Parliament level.
Constitution Day 2025 will be celebrated as a national festival of constitutional values, with participation from Indians across the country and around the world, the statement added.
