11 Chennai flights cancelled due to severe Delhi fog & adverse weather. Check your airline for real-time updates and avoid travel disruption. Plan smart!

Chennai: Flight operations at Chennai International Airport were disrupted on Wednesday morning after dense fog and adverse weather conditions in Delhi and other northern states led to the cancellation of 11 flights, airport authorities said.
According to the airport, four outbound flights from Chennai to Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Ghaziabad, and seven inbound flights from cities including Delhi, Jaipur, Patna, Pune, Kolkata, and Indore were cancelled. Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport reported 10 flight cancellations due to low visibility.
The flight disruptions come amid widespread fog and smog in northern India, which has affected operations for several days. Authorities advised passengers to check with airlines for updates before travelling.
Meanwhile, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) improved slightly on Wednesday morning to 328, remaining in the “very poor” category, while Chennai’s AQI was 95, in the “satisfactory” range, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
Authorities cautioned that weather-related disruptions may continue in the coming days, particularly in northern regions.
