Srinagar: In a shocking incident, a bus carrying security personnel fell into a river in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

The bus was carrying ITBP personnel at the time of the accident. According to officials, the bus fell into the Sindh River at Kullan amid heavy rain.

According to the PTI report, all personnel on board the bus were rescued. However, it was not immediately clear how many personnel were on the bus.

"The driver has sustained injuries and has been shifted to a hospital," an official said.

The authorities have launched a search and rescue operation. More details awaited. PTI
