Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances and motive behind the incident.

Jammu: A Border Security Force (BSF) sub-inspector reportedly took his own life on Thursday while on duty along the Line of Control in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sub-inspector Raj Kumar was stationed at a forward post near the border fence in the Nowshera sector when the incident occurred. According to preliminary reports from officials, the officer allegedly used his service rifle to shoot himself.
"Sub-inspector Raj Kumar was on duty in a forward location near the border fence in Nowshera sector when he allegedly shot himself," officials stated, citing the initial findings of the investigation.
The body was transported to a local hospital for a post-mortem examination. While police have initiated inquest proceedings to determine the circumstances of the death, the motive behind Kumar’s actions remains unclear.
