BSF detains elderly Pakistani intruder in Jammu’s Samba district after he reportedly crossed the border by mistake

Jammu: A Pakistani national was detained by the Border Security Force (BSF) along the International Border in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials confirmed.
Movement detected near border outpost
According to officials, vigilant BSF personnel noticed the movement of an elderly Pakistani individual near Border Out Post Bhaller in the Ramgarh sector. Acting swiftly, the troops challenged him after he crossed over to the Indian side.
Intruder surrenders upon being challenged
Officials stated that the person surrendered when confronted by the security forces. During preliminary questioning, it emerged that he had unintentionally crossed the border.
Repatriation process likely soon
Authorities indicated that the individual is expected to be sent back following the completion of the required formal procedures, which are likely to be concluded shortly.
