He points to rapid creation times and use of Adobe Illustrator as further evidence, claiming the files originated outside India and implicating foreign influence in the opposition's narrative

Delhi: BJP leader Pradeep Bhandari on Wednesday targeted Rahul Gandhi, alleging that the evidence he presented in support of his “vote chori” claims was not even created in India.
In a post on X, Bhandari declared that Rahul Gandhi’s international ‘Vote Theft Toolkit’ had been exposed and asked, “Who was the foreign BOSS driving Rahul Gandhi’s remote control?”

According to Bhandari, the controversy dates back to 7 August 2025, when Rahul Gandhi held a press conference where he spoke about ‘vote chori’ and uploaded documents in English, Hindi and Kannada on his official website RahulGandhi.in.
Bhandari claimed that a closer look at the metadata of these files revealed that all three documents were created in the Myanmar timezone, which is set at +6:30 MMT. He further stated that the files were exported through Adobe Illustrator, a software that relies on the system clock and, he argued, cannot be altered using a VPN.
The BJP leader went on to highlight time gaps in the creation of the three files, noting that the English version was finalised in 29 seconds, the Hindi version in 31 seconds, and the Kannada version in 37 seconds.
He also argued that since the documents were shared via Google Drive, the metadata remained intact, leaving no room for modification. Based on this, he concluded: “These so-called ‘evidences’ weren’t made in India. They were created on a system set to Myanmar timezone. Rahul Gandhi talks of ‘democracy in danger’, but his own toolkit exposes how foreign hands are scripting India’s Opposition narrative.”
Bhandari further accused Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party and his close circle of being “very dangerous for democracy.”
