BJP Minority Leader Nazia Elahi Khan escalated her allegations against IndiGo Airlines, hours after accusing the airline’s staff of harassment at Mumbai airport. The controversy unfolded after she shared a video on social media showing a heated argument with airline personnel, which later went viral.

In a series of posts on social media platform X, Khan criticised the airline and challenged it to bar her from flying. “The owner of IndiGo should listen to their supporters and blacklist me, because I am not going to keep quiet,” she wrote.

The video posted by Khan shows her engaged in a loud exchange with airline staff on the airport tarmac at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Raised voices can be heard as the situation escalates, drawing attention from other passengers and staff.

Following the video, Khan made further allegations, claiming she was deliberately mistreated and targeted for speaking out. She said the incident caused her “serious inconvenience and mental stress” and insisted that she would continue to raise her concerns despite what she described as pressure to remove her posts.

Some of Khan’s remarks, including comments related to the airline’s hiring practices, attracted criticism on social media. Several users described the comments as inappropriate and said they shifted attention away from the original allegation of harassment.

Reactions online were divided. While some users questioned the conduct of the airline staff seen in the video, others criticised Khan’s language and tone, arguing that the remarks crossed acceptable limits.

As of now, IndiGo has not issued a detailed public response addressing the specific allegations raised by Khan. The incident continues to generate debate on social media, with discussions focusing both on passenger treatment and the nature of public discourse.
