Meanwhile, central agencies are intensifying their probe into the Delhi terror blast, examining potential links to radical networks and support systems.

Faridabad: The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has issued a show-cause notice to Al-Falah University in Faridabad for allegedly displaying false accreditation on its official website, even as central agencies intensify scrutiny in the Delhi terror blast case involving alleged links to radical networks.
In its notice, NAAC said it had received complaints that Al-Falah University had falsely claimed to be accredited and had publicly stated that its affiliated colleges held ‘A’ grades from the council. The university’s website described Al-Falah University as “an endeavour of Al-Falah Charitable Trust” operating three campuses, Al-Falah School of Engineering and Technology, Brown Hill College of Engineering and Technology, and Al-Falah School of Education and Training, two of which were presented as being graded ‘A’ by NAAC.
The council clarified that the institution “neither accredited nor volunteered for Cycle-1 for A&A” and said such claims were “absolutely wrong and misleading the public, especially the parents, students and stakeholders.” NAAC has sought an explanation from the university and directed it to remove misleading claims from its website.
Meanwhile, central investigating agencies have continued questioning several individuals linked to the recent Delhi terror blast case. Sources said the probe has expanded to examine potential support networks, funding channels, and online activity associated with radical groups. Forensic teams are analysing materials recovered from the site to trace the nature and origin of the explosives used.
Authorities have indicated that both the regulatory and security aspects are being reviewed closely to ensure accountability and prevent misinformation or misuse of institutional premises.
